STARTING YOUR CAREER IN WOMEN'S HEALTH PHYSIOTHERAPY???

That's so exciting!! You are about to enter an amazing field. To get you started it is important to understand that courses are grouped into levels, starting at Level 1 (foundational knowledge) through to Level 3 (Advanced Clinical Practice), and finally extension courses. This ensures that you don't feel overwhelmed by doing a course more complex than your current knowledge base allows, but also ensures that as you progress you can do courses that challenge you (Level 3) without having to sit through basic knowledge over and over again.‚Äč

LEVEL 1 and LEVEL 2 TRAINING

WHTA has now joined with the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) to develop the Level 1 and Level 2 components of their official career pathway training program in the area of Women's Health Physiotherapy.

Over 90% of the Level 1 and Level 2 programs have been written and produced by WHTA but are provided via the APA learning platform. The advantage of this is that your Level 1 and 2 training is officially recognised by your peers and professional association.
